Since 2/97 Women Behind Bars has had a mission to bring men and women together providing them with an opportunity to enhance their lives. These ladies do not have access to the internet and their only point of contact with the outside world is by postal mail. Women Behind Bars was the first female prison pen pal program and has had over 38 marriages and a lot of loving relationships have been formed in the last 3 years.
