ENCOURAGEMENT, KINDNESS, CONCERN, FRIENDSHIP, WELCOMED! I am someone who is trying to make sense out of this horrible nightmare. I ask God daily, "Why..what is your greater plan?" This is a long, difficult process awaiting appeal. I have many unfilled hours per day and would enjoy writing and getting to know new friends, by correspondence, maybe even meeting one day. Receiving mail is the highlight of my days now, some days I don't get any word from the outside. Those are sad days for me. Before I was in prison, I spent most of my time with my children. We loved to go to the beaches, lakes, parks, and just driving around sight seeing. We all loved being outdoors picinicing, hiking, jogging, walking, taking pictures and just being together. My family and friends are my life. Being without them is difficult. May God bless us all!

Women Behind Bars host free web pages for ladies in prison. These female prisoners are looking for love, marriage, penpals, and a good solid relationship with men and women in the free world. Since 2/97 Women Behind Bars has had a mission to bring men and women together providing them with an opportunity to enhance their lives. These ladies do not have access to the internet and their only point of contact with the outside world is by postal mail. Women Behind Bars provides the postal address of our members for a small fee

A great many of these girls are looking to becomes brides, turning from an inmate to a bride is a dream a number of them express in letters they send with their applications. Women Behind Bars was the first female prison pen pal program and has had over 38 marriages and a lot of loving relationships have been formed in the last 3 years.
